My family and I went for my sisters birthday and I am a regular attender to hibachi restaurants. The soup and salad were ok as usually but once he started the hibachi they didn't give us any noodles and when I asked he said they didn't have them. Then when he was portioning out the food he must have made too little because we were given barely any food! We all requested the steak to be cooked medium and he made it so rare that it was probably not safe to eat. But what astonished me the most was they were just as expensive as any other hibachi place you would go to. Such a disappointment!! I would not recommend it.

FIrst the restaurant was very clean and and wait staff was friendly and attentive. We did not have sushi only the Hibachi grill. The show was pretty good, a lot better than many we have seen. As for the food itself was good but not great. I don't eat at Japanese restaurants in food courts because they coat everything in Teriyaki sauce. This is the same as they do here. If that is what you like then this is your place. Portion sizes are modest... veggies are almost rationed. They give everyone two shrimp as a shrimp appetizer served during the meal. Pricing in the restaurant is a couple of dollars higher than what is on the online menu. I expect high prices at a Japanese steakhouse and these are in line with some of the higher priced steakhouses. Portion sizes could be increased particularly for non-proteins to make the prices more of a value.

One of the better Japanese restaurants in town. Prices for 2 adults and 2 kids is +$100 w/ tip. Side order of extra vegetables is $7. Way too much in my book give the entree prices. Kid portions are huge. You'll get a reward card for every $30 you spend. Turn in 6 and get $30 off your check. With that said, if you use a coupon or Groupon- you won't get any rewards card regardless of how much you total bill was after the discount. That was a bitter surprise.

Very pricey for what you get my potstickers were burned. They won't let you have noodles at the grill only rice however the cook was kind enough to get us noodles. I was very unimpressed with this place and I would not recommended my friends or family to go unless I really didn't like someone then I may recommend it.

Not impressed. Our 2 minute wait turned into 10. No big deal but still. Service was what you would expect, everyone was very nice though. Food was pretty blan, no real flavor for the expensive price tag. Save money go to Tonbo's on 19 and embassy. Much better food quality and ask for Jay.

Went there for hibachi dinner. Friend said it's the best restsurant in Fl. The place was nicely decorated. There were too many chairs at the hibachi table and we were crowded. The show was nicely done. There was too much ginger on everything. My problem, I'm not a ginger fan. I found it to be very overpriced. My chicken was $17. and dry. The sushi looked like every other place I've gone too but WAY overpriced. Doubt I'll go back.

The staff was friendly but the food was tasteless. The salmon didn't taste like salmon

I am in love! The white rice all on its own with out any sause is amazing. Will be a regular every Saturday lunch as long as I got some money. Have had the Pork Katsu, Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box, Various Sushi, Unagi Don Bento Box. All were amazing. The Unagi Don was my favorite so far probably until next week when I try something new. Snagged me a sushi wish list to ogle all week and mark them off as I go.

Been there 3 times to give them a chance and it's been a bad experience each and every time. The servers we've had particularly are rude and seem irritated by the customers. The female manager that has been on the last two visits also lacks in customer service skills. We will never go back to this location to enjoy a nice family dinner out.

Finally made it out to this new restaurant, and it was pretty good. They serve the typical hibachi items: salad with ginger dressing, soup, etc. I had the hibachi chicken and NY strip. The fried rice was very good. My only complaints would be that the steak was overcooked and the table was crowded with way too many chairs. The servers were great, though, and the cook was very pleasant. I'd like to go back again sometime to try their sushi.

I agree with the previous reviews. Nice location and decor however the sushi is WAY over priced. We came here for lunch and after looking at the cost for the sushi rolls starting at $5-$20, $5 being the plain avocado rolls we went with the Lunch special box. Very bland food! The staff are very courteous.

I will preface this by saying that we did not have hibachi food, only from the sushi lounge. We ordered vegetable tempura, beef tataki, pork gyoza, tuna and fatty tuna (toro) sushi. (Nigiri of course). The vegetable tempura was good, and we were pleasantly surprised by the broccoli and mushrooms! It feels like you don't find those anymore in tempura appetizers. The beef tataki was delicious, but the sauce suspiciously tasted like unagi (eel) sauce and not ponzu sauce. The sushi. Oh, the sushi. At the bar the fish didn't look bad at all, do we ordered. The fatty tuna seemed to be a cheap cut. I didn't hold that against them because it's hard to get Toro in this area. Buttttttt.... That's where the problems began. The slice of fish was too long. It didn't fit in the mouth well. The rice was obviously not sushi grade, and you couldn't taste the vinegar at all! I would definitely not waste my money on sushi here again. The reason this review is three stars and not two is because of our waitress. She was super sweet and nice! It's too bad we won't be coming back :(

Miso soup is the norm, nothing special there. We ordered sushi rolls this time, last time here we ate at the hibachi, same as most other Japanese steakhouses. Lettuce n cucumber in the side salad that came w my son's chicken tereyaki dinner was spoiled. The sushi however was very good.

Terrible experience, we walk in on a Tuesday 5 minutes after 3pm, stand in the lobby for 5 minutes as no one greets us, someone comes out, would appear that he works there, asks if someone is helping us, we reply "no", he walks out, leaves us standing there and then 5 minutes later a woman comes out and says "can I help you?", standing there feeling like idiots at this point, why else would people be standing in your lobby, we would like to have a seat, get something to eat?!?!? "Oh we close, lunch over - sorry", dumbfounded because all of the booths visible from the door have guests seated and eating. Now, as I write this review from the parking lot I've watched three sets of customers get turned away because you choose to close mid day. Beautiful shopping center, brand new facelift, attracting tons of customers to it and you choose to close mid day and loose money to do what? We won't be back - we will stick to our favorite sushi place instead of looking for another. The level of service given to us at the door is proof enough not to check you guys out!

Waited over 45 minutes after being seated for the cooking to start. I think they underestimated the crowd they would have before the holiday, so they were short handed. Food was excellent! Everything was well prepared, the bar drinks were good, and the hibachi chef very entertaining. The restaurant itself is really well done, clean, and the staff friendly. I dinged them for the wait time for the food, so we will have to try again and see if we have the same experience.

I love this place and the food. I cheated and went to another Hibachi grill and well it wasn't great. Jay who is an amazing indviidual was very attentive and kind. I believe the Grill Chef was Kumon and his food rocks!!!!!
